A New IFSP Course for CSPs

A New IFSP Course for CSPs

IFSP announces new course for CSPs and will cover the new regulatory framework

The MFSA has just published its updated CSP Rulebook implementing the brand new CSP Framework set up through the new Company Service Providers (Amendment) Act 2020, also fresh off the press. This is set to establish the regulatory basis for CSPs as of 2021.

The new framework will bring changes to the way CSPs operate, all in the interests of safeguarding the quality of the service Malta-based practitioners offer.

The IFSP has designed a new course intended to provide practitioners in the area with a solid grounding in best practice. This includes the provisions of the Companies Act, the obligations on practitioners imposed by the PMLFT Act, taxation, the ethics and responsibility required of practitioners in the area, along with other areas of importance to a CSP practice.

The course will launch on 12 January 2021, and will be conducted online via Zoom.

Participants will benefit from 35 direct contact hours with the lecturers, all of whom are skilled and experienced practitioners in their areas.
