CSP Applications: Supporting documents due on 15 July
Following an IFSP query, the MFSA has clarified its expectations regarding the documents listed in section 3.6.3 of the Guidelines to the New CSP Regime Application Process.
Under threshold applicants are not required to provide the documents listed in section 3.6.3 – Supporting Documentation Required at this stage, the MFSA told the Institute. Under threshold applicants should expect to hear from the MSFA with a communication advising each of them what will be required, on a case-by-case basis.
Over threshold and Class C applicants will be required to submit the documentation. However, the MFSA has assured the Institute that it will be granting a “slight extension” to the 15 July 2021 deadline laid out in section 3.6.3 of the Guidelines to the New CSP Regime Application Process. The IFSP understands that the MFSA will be issuing a formal notice of this extension, including its duration, by Friday 9 July 2021.
The IFSP will recirculate any formal notice on the extension to the 15 July deadline as soon as it is available.
