On the 17th of February, 2021 at 1600 to 1700 hrs, GVZH Advocates will be hosting a Webinar on ‘Competition Law and Small Island Economies: Challenges, Disadvantages and Opportunities’ with Mondaq and we wish to promote the webinar on the IFSP website. The webinar will be delivered by Senior Associate, Gayle Kimberley and Consultant, Jackie Mallia along with Gilmour Camilleri from MCCAA – Malta Competition & Consumer Affairs Authority.

 

In this webinar certain particularities which Malta faces in the field of competition law will be addressed. Such issues include: Recently adopted laws and the changes brought about by these amendments, Upcoming changes to our laws and Challenges faced by Malta and presumably other small island economies to establish a well-developed competition law practice and suggestions on how to turn these challenges into opportunities. This webinar will address both the public and private sector.
