Webinar description

Regulators are increasing the pressure on gaming industry players to “up their game” around the prevention of money laundering. Therefore or that is why , the AML Business Risk Assessment is seen as key for the industry players to demonstrate their work and capabilities around setting risk-based AML control functions to mitigate the risk. It also underpins the risk-based approach that all subject persons, including online gaming industry players, are expected to take when developing their money laundering risk management processes.

This is an extremely practical course. It provides key background information around the expectations of regulators from this assessment by looking at how gaming is viewed vis-à-vis money laundering risks. It also provides detailed technical knowledge on how an organisation can carry out such an assessment as well as the governance and structures that need to be set up in order to support it.
