Participants should achieve a strong level of awareness of this critical regulatory document. A key aim of the session is that participants should build confidence and capabilities to create/review/critically evaluate an organisation’s AML P&P and the supporting systems and processes in the context of the FIAU’s Part I IPs.
Target audience
The event is particularly aimed towards all individuals working within AML Departments. However, the event is also likely to be of interest to people working in other control and support roles (e.g. risk managers and internal auditors) and also to operational and senior management within subject persons.

Trainer bio & experience
Mr Fisher, who trained as a chartered accountant with a Big Four firm, has been working in Malta in the area of AML for the past decade across all types of subject person. His experience includes a range of AML consultancy roles, national risk assessments and overseeing a AML team of 12 at a local bank.
