IFSP.org.mt is operated by the Institute of Financial Services Practitioners, Garrison Chapel, Castille Place, Valletta VLT1063, Malta. The Institute is an association of financial services practitioners, and organises seminars, conferences, social events and courses, some of which against payment. All registration sales are concluded in English. All prices stated are inclusive of VAT.
The Institute also takes payments of annual membership fees from members, and payments for access to other online services including online due diligence information.
To register, please enter the requested information in the event registration form. Please note that the registrant is responsible for ensuring the correct information is submitted. This information is used to grant access to the event, be it online or in person. While the IFSP will attempt to correct any errors it is alerted to, this may not always be possible.
Occasionally, an event may be cancelled, postponed or moved for a variety of reasons. In these circumstances, the IFSP will inform each registrant of any changes via the email provided during registration. The fee paid will be either refunded or transferred to the event at its new date and/or location.
Please note that all tickets, access codes, joining links or similar tokens of registration will be sent to registrant via email on the email address provided by the registrant on registration.
A registrant may choose to cancel his or her registration to an event. Should this be necessary, please let the IFSP know as soon as possible.
A registrant cancelling his or her registration up to 30 days before an event will be entitled to a full refund of the fee paid.
For cancellations made less than 30 days and more than five days before the event, the registrant is entitled to a refund of 50% of the registration fee paid.
No refund will be made for registrations cancelled less than five days before the event, or for anyone who registered for the event but did not attend.
Payments made for the annual renewal of membership are final and are not subject to refund.
Payments made by prospective members are contingent upon the IFSP Council’s acceptance of the application for membership. Should the application be accepted, the payment is final and np refund will be made. If however, the application is rejected the fee will be refunded to the unsuccessful applicant.
All payments for online services (for example, due diligence services) are final, and not are subject to refund.
Depending upon the nature of the service or event, the IFSP may add a service charge to the membership fee or registration fee. This will be listed separately on the invoice and the checkout page.
